It has been proven over and over that reading to your children is extremely beneficial. It is a wonderful bonding opportunity as well as being good for their brain development.
When you read daily to your children it helps their attention span, vocabulary, and helps their imagination among a ton of other things. Reading is just so good for your kiddos.
But what do you read to them? You want to get more books for your kids but not sure which ones, well I got you. I put together a list of my girls top 50 favorite books. We’ve been very blessed with kiddos who LOVE to read.
I love to read and have for my entire life, I remember asking my oldest sisters and parents to read to me all the time. Thankfully they obliged and help fuel my love for reading. My eldest daughter especially loves to read and reads herself to sleep every night.
It is one of my favorite things about her. She loves to read and learn about the world around her. I am always happy to stop what I am doing to read with her on the couch and help keep her flame for books alive.
So without further ado, here are our 50 favorite books. I will link each book as well so if you see one you want you can go ahead and get it! You will not regret it.
Little Critter- All by myself (We love any Little Critter book, but this is our favorite)
Berestain Bears- New Baby (We love any Berenstain book, but this is our favorite)
You will never regret pausing your day and reading one of these books with your little ones. These days where they want to cuddle up on your lap and read with you are truly fleeting.
It is especially rewarding knowing that this activity is so beneficially for your kiddos and your bond with them. Spending time with your kids is always worth it. Grab one or some of these books gather them around and read to your sweet littles.
Your children will look back on the memories of snuggling with you and diving into the world of books with love and cherish them. This is time you can not get back, and so simple to achieve.
