Recap of August 2023

Photo dump time! I loved these moments and wanted to share and remember them forever.

August 2023 was so darn fun, I loved it and would relive it anytime.

We live in a town that has a river and I just love taking the girls. I want them to grow up proud of their little river town, and full of joyful memories from playing in the river.

There is a little sandy spot that we frequent. During the summer I tried to take the girls at least once a week. The girls loved it, I pray that we make so many more wonderful memories there.

Lucy had swim lessons and she did so good. I loved it, she wore out swimming and playing so hard. Her teacher had such a fun yard as well. Lyra played the whole time. Lucy could not wait until next year to do them again.

Lyra loved the flippers and walked around with them for a whole lesson.

I got the girls blocks and hot dang such a good idea. They have played for hours with these blocks. I love watching their creativity blossom.

We spend so many hours outside. I love freaking love it! Nothing better than letting my little ones negotiate the world they live in. I am trying to do 1,000 hours with the girls and I was surprised how easy its been. They love to be outside.

I love sitting outside, reading, feeding the baby, or even just sitting in the chair soaking up these moments and the sun.

Lucy wore these wings and hunted for fairies. She showed me some every time she found one. I loved watching her prance around and have such a big and colorful imagination.

Painting the fence with water. I love enjoying the little things in life with the girls.

Some garden harvests, I love a summer squash.

Little details of Lennon I want to remember. She is such a sweet little squish. 5 months in August and I can not believe it.

A fun little lunch I made for the girls.

Some soup that Lucy made me. I loved it, and all the grass that she spilled on me.

Playing with all three of my minis. We had lots of fun and some really good laughs.

Lyra was sick, but all she wanted to do was lay on me and snuggle. It reminded me that it is such a blessing to work from home so that I can be her constant comfort when she needs. Love my little cuddle bug.

August was full of so many more beautiful memories, these are just the highlights. We made many batches of cookies, dinners together. 100s of books read (no joke we read A LOT). SO many laughs, plenty of kisses and hugs. I am so excited to see what September holds for us. Thank you Lord for a colorful, lively August 2023.
