Recap of September 2023.
We had a very regular sept. Play dates, church, making cookies and spending time as a family.
The girls and I danced in the kitchen every day when we made dinner, cookies, breakfast, and more. Lennon turned 6 months and I still am wondering where the time went.
Our friend had a baby and the girls and I went up every week to see her and help out. I love being able to be helpful to others and to teach the girls to serve and that serving is a blessing. We have so much that we can share, money, toys, or time. It is all a joy to share.
Lucy has been learning to read and is doing so darn well. I love watching her blossom. She has been singing a lot about butts, and she loves to say words funny to get a laugh. She still is full of back talk and sass. I love my feisty little miss.
Lyra’s vocab is expanding every day and I love hearing more of her thoughts. She is so confident in what she wants and what she likes. She still loves mom the most and not very social. Lucy and Lyra have been playing more and it makes my heart swell.
Lennon is the happiest baby I have ever met. She smiles constantly and I am not sure how her cheeks do not hurt. She LOVES her older sisters and the dogs. Rolling over back to belly and belly to back. We are working on sitting up and she is doing better everyday.
Bryton has been preparing to leave in OCT. I am still sad he has to go to the training but I know it will be okay. He has been doing a different shift at work and loving it.
I have been working on being consistent with my cleaning habits and at the end of the day I am happy with where our house is. I got reusable mop heads for my shark and I am obsessed.
The colder weather has been so nice and we are walking everyday. The dogs and the kids have been loving it. I have to, getting out and exploring our neighborhood is such a blessing.
We also went to Grandpa’s house and helped harvest grapes for the 4th year in a row. It was so much fun. The girls ate more grapes then the picked and put in the buckets but that was okay. Memories were made and it was wonderful.
Lucy has a new found love of having Bryton spin her round and a round outside and it melts my heart. They both laugh and smile the whole time and I love watching those core memories being made.
Plenty of plain Jane normal day to day memories were made, and truly those are my favorites. Being the mom I want day in and day out makes my soul sing. Reading books, singing, playing outside, make little memories with lots of laughing.
I am so thankful for the Lord and all the memories He gave me this September.
