This world is a busy and loud place to be in. In todays day and age it is so important to remember to keep your heart open to gratitude. The Lord blesses our lives everyday and it is so crucial to see all that He provides us. It is so easy to get stuck in a negative cycle, but I have found nothing gets me out of a slump quicker than reflecting on all gifts that God has given me.

Personally I think that giving thanks out loud almost reminds me that this is something that is actually worth being grateful for. 7: A Jar of Gratitude:
You can start by writing down on a slip of paper what you are grateful for and why you are grateful it. A good setup for the slips of paper is " I am grateful for ______ today because _______" you can fill in the blanks with anything you want. It does not matter how big or small. You can look back on what you wrote down and put in the jar to see what you were grateful for.
Living a life of gratitude takes time, but is so refreshing to be mindful and grateful for everything the Lord has given us. It helps me see how invested He is in me and my life when I take the time to reflect on what He has given me. Becoming a mother truly helped me realize how important those little things are. I am beyond grateful for every breath my girls take, this life is not guaranteed so take time to breath and keep an open heart. I have found I truly have seen a change in all aspects of my life since living a life filled with gratitude!
