APPLE Bible Study Method.

The study method APPLE is an acronym for

A: Attributes of God

P: Promises of God

P: Principles of Life

L: Lessons Learned

E: Examples to Follow

Using this method you can really gain spiritual insight and build your faith and relationship with God.

The Letter A: Attributes of God

An attribute is something attributed as belonging to a person, etc.; a quality, character, characteristic. Find in the scriptures the attributes of God, and how we can closer resemble the Savior. It is a pleasure to uncover the depth of God’s character.

The Letter P: Promise of God

While you read the passages to uncover the promises and gifts God has given to His children.

As we develop more faith and focus on His word, these promises He gives us will change our heart and soul. We can not be change by the promises of God if we are not aware of what He has vowed to give us if we listen to His word.

The Letter P: Principles of Life

Look back at the passage and search for life principles in these verses.

No matter what happens in our life, our job is praise the name of the Lord. Also, we are supposed to remember His promises and to recall them in all places. It is so important to apply the Lord’s principles to our life to live close to Him at all times.

The Letter L: Lessons Learned

There is loads of lessons you can learn from the verses.

When we put God at the center of our world we lay aside our fear and focus on the peace that he can bring. The bible is full of lessons that we can learn and apply them to our life. God teaches us through lessons, it is vital that when we recognize those lessons in our lives we allow ourselves to be changed for the better because of them.

The Letter E: Examples to Follow

Look at the verse and ask yourself how you can follow any example found in this scripture. We need to be determined to follow the word of God not just read it and forget it.

God is faithful, and in those moments where you are overwhelmed or scared praise His holy name. There are plenty of examples God has given us to follow. Reflect on the examples set for us in the Bible to combat stress and fear.

Studying the Bible is so important to grow your faith and relationship with God. Taking Acronyms like A.P.P.L.E and S.O.A.P (here is my post on S.O.A.P) can help you drive deeper into your Bible then you would have normally been able to do.
